Welcome to St William’s consultation website for the redevelopment of Mitcham Gasworks.

Mitcham gasworks is a 5.67 acre site, formerly used for gas production and storage. Changes to the way gas is produced and supplied means that most of the site is now redundant.

Opening up and redeveloping this closed-off site will help to improve the local environment and offer opportunities for the surrounding community. These include much needed affordable housing, open spaces and connectivity.

We are working on early design proposals and have set up this website to ensure we hear the views of the local community and keep you updated on our proposals.

St William specialise in the redevelopment of redundant gasworks sites across London and the South East of England. Our goal is to unlock some of the most technically complex regeneration sites, transforming them into beautiful places for people to live, work and spend time.
